the issue around acting

Explanation:

Pretty much a straight translation.

Not one of my specialist subject areas, please note my low confidence level.

Please note that you have the plural in the "French term or phrase" box but the singular in the extract you provide.

Actually, "issues" maybe works better in EN.

agree  Yvonne Gallagher: or "the problem of acting out". Note the English in the bilingual text is not so great https://core.ac.uk/download/pdf/16262932.pdf

-> Thanks Yvonne - I wondered whether it might sound better to change the word order (after I'd posted!). Regarding the bilingual text - agreed! Which is why I found an English language ref to confirm usage of the term.

agree  Nikki Scott-Despaigne: "L'agir" in French psychology is about the "passage à l'acte", so yes, "acting out". I'm British born but am a French-qualified clinical psychologist.//A noter que "l'acting out" se dit aussi en français.

problems with agitation

Explanation:
Agitation is the proper psychological term in English.
Agitation refers to an abnormal mental state, often dangerous, in which the brain is highly aroused for action, but does not know why--something has prevented the brain from linking its arousal to a meaningful goal.
