1. Le moteur est arrêté.
2. Le technicien active le coupe circuit ou s’assure que la clef est retirée du contact.
3. La bielle de verrouillage doit être engagée sur tout engin articulé tels que chargeuses ou tombereaux articulés.
4. Les godets ou lames doivent être complètement abaissés sur les engins qui en sont pourvus.
5. Des cales doivent être placées devant et derrière sur au moins une roue.
