Guten Morgen!
Es geht um eine Halterung für eine Kamera, die man in einem Fahrzeug befestigen will. Die Halterung wird mit einem Saugnapf befestigt: La ventouse est sécurisée par appel d'air, un seul clic suffit pour l'enlever.
Saugnäpfe halten ja eigentlich durch Vakuum - ist das hier mit "appel d'air" gemeint? Ich bin etwas unsicher.

  -> Natürlich, das ist klar. Ich wollte lediglich die Redundanz vermeiden - ein Saugnapf wird logischerweise durch Unterdruck befestigt - deshalb hätte ich es der Einfachheit halber bei "Saugnapf" belassen und das Ganze umschrieben.

Der Begriff "appel d'air" ist hier ein vollständiger Missgriff und meint das Gegenteil:
Luftzufuhr, Luftströmung, Lufteintritt, Lufteinlass. Dadurch verliert der Saugnapf seine Haltewirkung und fällt ab!
