Pod si usa anche in italiano Explanation: Trattandosi di aviazione militare, i termini sono prevalentemente quelli inglesi. Sul sito dell'Aviazione Militare, basta fare una ricerca con "pod" per trovare frasi come questa: "La versione espressamente progettata per ruoli di attacco al suolo e antiguerriglia è l'SF-260W Warrior, che può portare fino a 300 kg di lanciarazzi, bombe, mitragliatrici, pod fotografici e lanciabengala."
