Explanation:
in genere in francese ho trovato "pêne de porte" e si riferisce al chiavistello, sebbene la voce su wikipedia in francese corrispondente a questa parola sia "verrou". Il chiavistello in realtà è la parte mobile del verrou (ovvero la serratura) che scorrendo nella sua sede, va ad impegnarsi (o a disimpegnarsi) nella gola che blocca la parte mobile.
