Colegas, como traduziriam a expressão para PT-PT?
"Abordar" já utilizei.
Só consigo pensar em expressões idiomáticas que são mais longas e precisava de um verbo que transmitisse a ideia sem me alongar muito.
Fazer-se ao piso/à pista, arrastar a asa, piscar um olho/dente... "atirar-se/atracar-se a uma mulher".

Agradeço todas as outras sugestões, mesmo as de Pt-Br.
Selecciono esta opção por achar que também não tem aquela carga negativa que outros verbos têm como "engatar". Mesmo para "draguer" que igualmente apareceu no meio do texto optei por "conquistar", em vez de "engatar".
Neste caso, acabei mesmo por utilizar "atirar-se a uma mulher" por ser uma expressão ainda actual.

Talvez isto assim. "Dar a volta", em português de Portugal, usa-se no sentido de "seduzir", "persuadir", no amor e em geral. Por exemplo:
O vendedor conseguiu dar a volta ao cliente.
Se o sentido visado é mesmo o amoroso (seduzir), seria outra possibilidade.
