"Soufflette" traduzindo literalmente seria "fole".
Os flocos de cereais misturados nos líquidos tendem a ficar maiores, ou a dilatar, como se fossem pequenos foles.

La première définition de soufflette dans le dictionnaire est dispositif qui souffle, qui dilate.

Acabei de encontrar uma pergunta semelhante em espanhol, "hojuelas" (flocos) mas "insuflado", sinceramente, nunca vi em ingredientes.
