Уважаемые коллеги, подскажите, пожалуйста, как, на ваш взгляд, лучше переводить в данном случае слово "attaché"? С одной стороны, слово "атташе" существует в русском языке, но употребляется скорее в международном контексте. А в моем контексте это слово выражает уровень чиновничей иерархии во Франции. Les attachés de préfecture constituent un corps classé dans la catégorie A des fonctionnaires de l’Etat
prévue à l'article 29 de la loi du 11 janvier 1984 modifiée portant dispositions statutaires relatives à la fonction
publique de l'Etat. Le statut particulier des attachés de préfecture est fixé par le décret n° 97-583 du 30 mai 1997
relatif au statut particulier des directeurs, attachés principaux et attachés de préfecture.
Ils sont chargés, sous l'autorité des préfets et des autres membres du corps préfectoral, de l'application
des textes législatifs et réglementaires, notamment ceux relatifs à la garantie des libertés publiques et au contrôle
administratif des collectivités locales et de leurs établissements publics. Ils participent également à la mise en oeuvre
des politiques ministérielles et interministérielles et peuvent se voir confier des missions ou fonctions spécifiques
impliquant des responsabilités particulières.
Les attachés de préfecture peuvent assurer les fonctions de chef de bureau ou de secrétaire en chef de
sous-préfecture.

С другой стороны, трудно найти русский термин, который бы отражал все те особенности (требования к диплому, сдача административного экзамена и др.), которые заложены в понятие "attaché".

Буду благодарна за любые компетентные мнения.

Explanation:
в источниках можно найти даже - аттестованный государственный служащий, а также "помощник"
или просто, в свободном переводе", можно использовать "чиновник"...

но ни замаститель, ни помощник - это не профессия, а должность

"служащий префектуры" мне кажется отлично отвечает графе "профессия"
