Justamente, hace poco tuve que traducir esta palabra, y lo resolví con "góndola". Se trata de la estructura que aloja el motor. Puedes ver referencias en IATE, pero poniendo "todas las lenguas", no a partir del francés.

Según wikipedia : "Un pod (ou nacelle) est un conteneur rajouté sous un appareil, afin d'y placer différents dispositifs tels que des caméras, imageurs infrarouge, désignateurs laser, armements, équipements de contre mesures, fumigènes…", y según lo visto en diferentes blogs, se puede decir que un avión "lleva un pod" (tercer párrafo de la página del blog Aviación Argentina.net)
