Explanation:
Los sistemas de visión que funcionan para el día y la noche utilizan un sistema distinto de captura de la luz que necesita un tiempo (latencia) para cambiar automáticamente entre uno y otra. La "latencia" sería el hecho físico y el "retardo", el efecto funcional. En este tipo de equipos he visto utilizar ambos términos: retardo o latencia. Prefiero retardo por ser más intuitivo pero también preciso.
