Explanation:
No estoy del todo segura, pero tengo aquí una revista con indicaciones para construir un "mueble para televisión con puertas escamoteables" donde se menciona que tiene puertas (hay dos, en este caso) "batientes y embutibles", porque cumplen la doble función de abrirse y luego deslizarse hacia el interior del mueble para permitir la visión completa de la televisión.
«Las puertas se embuten en los laterales cuando se está viendo la tele».
