Hola:

Aparece en varias ocasiones a lo largo del texto:

"Ces problèmes de l'art antérieur sont liés au *verrouillage* du poussoir en rotation, le guidage du poussoir, l'amélioration de la fixation de l'organe de distribution." [...] Le dispositif de distribution comprend en outre un anneau de *verrouillage* apte à *verrouiller* la douille sur la bague. Avantageusement, l'anneau est engagé, en position de *verrouillage*, autour de la douille au niveau où la douille est en prise avec la bague."

He encontrado como acepciones "bloqueo, enclavamiento, cierre, fijación". El que más encaja con el contexto es "bloqueo", pero más adelante en el texto aparecen "blocage et verrouillage" juntos por lo que no sé si "enclavamiento-enclavar" sería la opción más adecuada.

¿Alguien experto en la materia podría por favor darme su opinión?

Hola Mari Carmen:

En general, yo evitaría enclavamiento que se tiende a usar para cosas concretas como por ejemplo dispositivos ferroviarios e interruptores.

Fijación y cierre me parecen ambas muy buenas opciones. Incluso puedes usar ambas al mismo tiempo, usar cierre como sustantivo y fijar como verbo.
