Explanation:
Le mot est féminin tout comme octave. Vérifié dans le Petit Robert.
Il ne s'agit pas d'une note musicale, mais de l'intervalle entre deux notes, plus précisément "l'intervalle de neuf degrés". L'octave, qui est de huit, est plus connu. Mais on les utilise parfois au masculin, dit le Wiktionnaire.
