žejdlík (asi čtvrt litru)


Explanation:
"Žejdlík" je zastaralé slovo dnes již nejasného významu, proto vysvětlení v závorce. Znamená buď nádobku nebo objem, který tato nádobka pojme. Viz Hugo Siebenschein: Německo-český slovník. Objem kolísá podle místa v německojazyčném prostoru od 0,20 do 0,30 litru, nejčastěji 0,25 liltru.

Považoval jsem to za úryvek z návodu pro přípravu nápoje, kde "Schoppen" znamená množství, objem přísl. nádoby. Ekvivalent "žejdlík" je ve jmenovaném zákl. slovníku a je v tomto smyslu správný, standardní, kodifikovaný. Zde by jej snad bylo možné nahradit slovem "odlivka", které má ovšem v cit. slovníku jiné něm. ekvivalenty, nebo méně vhodným slovem "odměrka".

neutral  Tomas Burda: To ano, ale kolegyni spíš zarazilo to, že by se dětská strava měla podávat ve středověkém žejdlíku. Přitom se jedná o jihoněmecký "Eigenart"... :-)
