"Es handelt sich bei der jetzigen Implementierung um einen Sackspeicher. Sollte es zu einem Pufferüberlauf kommen, gehen die Daten verloren."
Laut Kunde handelt es sich um einen Speicher, in den Daten unsortiert abgelegt werden, daher "Sack". Und kann als Gegensatz zu "stack memory" gesehen werden.

The fourth type of memory is the heap, which is space which is unused when the program begins, but which the program can pick chunks out of as it needs them. Heap memory is in some ways the opposite of stack memory: you can get a chunk of heap memory at any time, not just on a function call, of any size you need, and it continues to exist until it is released no matter what function it is in.
