module bay Explanation: This document seems to have very similar, if not the exact same text with an English translation. Looking at the pictures there, the opening really looks like a bay: http://img.herweck.de/getpdf.php?artikelnummer=078445 p.16: "Before opening the module bay on the system telephone, remove the Western plug on the power supply cable from the socket!" But the term is used by other vendors as well: http://www.xiptec.com/XIPmite 803 user guide.pdf "Installation To install the XIPmite 803 add-on module: · Unplug the XIPmite 801 IP phone from power. · Insert the add-on module into the add-on module bay of the back of the XIPmite 801 IP phone. Make sure that the module ‘clicks’ into the fastening tabs. · Turn power on. The module is automatically recognized." |
