Doesn't sound that nice but (imho) is still correct.

neutral  Jane Luther: As far as I know, waste steam and industrial steam are two different things. Industrial steam is steam produced for use in industrial processes. Waste steam is "leftover" steam which has already been through a steam turbine or similar. cf. Abdampf

disagree  itla: Depending on the context, Dampf can be translated as vapo(u)r or steam. Vapor is not correct in this particular context.
