During execution of the drainage pipe attention should be paid to the following points :

a) To avoid increased flow resistances the drainage pipe to be transferred must be of a sufficiently large nominal width ....
b) A drainage pipe with a chimney must be relocated in the direction of the valve, in order to collect condensates at the valve head - they will be sucked into the valve during aeration.
The formation of *Wassersäcken* in the drainage pipe must be prevented.
