German term or phrase: Förderaktion
Unfortunately, I can't provide an awful lot of context for this particular word, as it's on its own in a table. What I can say, however, is that it has to do with solar collectors (indeed, the table appears to make a distinction between "Vakuumröhrekollektoren" and "Flachkollektoren"). Research in Google has revealed that "Förderaktion" is frequently used in solar collector contexts. What it actually means though, I have no idea, and I can't find a translation for it anywhere. TIA for any light you can shed on it, and Happy New Year.

Explanation:
My confidence is somewhat low, since I suppose it could also be referring to some technical aspect (though I doubt it).

Also, sorry for the lack of references, but many countries/states have such incentive programs/schemes to boost the development in certain areas (see, for example, http://www.google.com/#sclient=psy&hl=en&safe=off&q=solar "i... ).

Many thanks to everyone - that did fit. Sorry for late grading; been on holiday (there are times when I wish the time limit for grading was shorter!). Thanks again and a very Happy New Year to all.

agree  Lancashireman: OK, you're clearly onto a winner here, Derek (+7). But might I perhaps recommend 'incentive scheme' for a British readership? We only use 'program' (minus the terminal -me) for computer applications.

  -> Definitely, Andrew! :)

agree  784512 (X): re: Andrew, we do SOMETIMES have government programmes, (e.g. Supporting People Programme), but yes, scheme is more usual, esp. where it is financial rather than a set of measures to achieve some general purpose.
