coagulation Explanation: It sounds like a process to promote sedimentation and removal or particles. That would be the coagulation process, which is sometimes combined with floccing. decoagulation doesn't appear in technical texts on water treatment. detackification Explanation: (eliminating undesirable stickiness) A detackifying agent converts tacky (paint) particles dispersed in the process water into non-adhesive objects (e.g. by forming a film on the particle surface). The result is a non-sticky (paint) sludge that can be easily separated. References Paint detackification treats paint overspray which is captured by a water source. This captured material is then detackified and dispersed using Chemetall Americas technology. This detackified paint can remain afloat using various flocculants or be allowed to sink depending on the removal method used. http://www.chemetallamericas.com/products/by_app/paintDetack... http://www.kurita.de/en/products/paintshop/kuristuck-2k-the-... http://www.kurita.de/uploads/media/JOT_Artikel.pdf |
