firewood processing centre Explanation: The purpose seems to be the production of firewood. The machines cut felled timber to suitable lengths and split it into firewood - Scheitholz -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2 hrs (2014-06-04 07:10:01 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Also described as a firewood processor: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Firewood_processor -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2 hrs (2014-06-04 07:11:49 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- The vehicle shown on the website could well be described as a "truck-mounted firewood processor" or a "mobile firewood processing centre". |

Mobile/motorized timber processor/ processing machine Explanation: We use the very unique Cord King timber processing machine that cuts all sizes of logs into manageable cuts of firewood. http://www.dsntimber.co.uk/mobile_timber_processing_cumbria.... To just call it a splitting centre doesn't seem to do it justice, as the timber is first sawn into lengths. Similarly firewood. Having said which, since it is presumably fairly unique, you can basically use any applicable term. Even mobile saw mill! |
