I agree, it might be a good idea to turn it around as suggested. I'd tend to use "HVAC industry", though. Also, on second thought, "asking" appears to be more appropriate than just "ask".

Please note that I didn't use any commas in my sentence because the relative clause is a dependent one. Panel discussions titled Ask the Experts do involve Q&A or questions submitted by attendees.

By contrast, those titled Nachgefragt typically do not, IMO. Also, I didn't say anything about asking, which could probably be used. I don't think that ask and asking are interchangeable in this context.

By the way, here's an ENS link using "inquire":

It also points to Ramey's "experts talk XYZ." I half-agree with Michael here, though, because "experts" is a heavily overused word. Anyone can be one these days.

You should probably turn the phrase around, which means you'll end up with "Digital transformation: Panel discussion on/about the state of the HVAC market" or the like.

Bei einigen Veranstaltern oder Unternehmen gibt es regelmäßige Vorträge oder Votragsreihen. Bei Apple gibt es solch eine Art Vortragsreihe, die heißt dann "Today at Apple" iirc. Und dann heißt es also "Today at Apple: Die Einstellungsmöglichkeiten der Kamera" oder sowas in der Art.

"Nachgefragt" klingt für mich ähnlich. Eine Art Vortragsreihe, bei der Experten ein bestimmtes Thema vertiefen.
Wenn diese Reihe regelmäßig stattfindet, dann würde ein einheitlicher Begriff sicher Sinn ergeben. Vielleicht sowas wie "What's New?" oder "What about...?" oder "Question Time"?

Meistens deutet das „Nachgefragt“ im Titel darauf hin, dass Experten etwas erklären. Ist das auch hier der Fall? Dafür findet man im Englischen häufig Formulierungen wie „We asked the experts: ...“ oder „Experts explain ...“. Auch etwas wie „Find out how ...“ könnte hier gut funktionieren.
