Einbringtage

English translation: days on which the employee is/was available for work

Bus/Financial - Human Resources / Early retirement scheme
German term or phrase: Einbringtage
Dear colleagues,

Term: Einbringtage
Document: Works Agreement for an Early Retirement Scheme

The context is:

Has anyone come across this term before and knows what it means (or ideally has a pinpoint term for me)?

Many thanks and have a lovely weekend.

English translation:days on which the employee is/was available for work
Explanation:
nicht als Einbringtage zählen
do not count as days on which the employee was available for work

Twice as long as the German, but this should not be a problem in a legal document where clarity is paramount.
I like the idea of 'on-call', but I think the main idea here is availability for work.

Re your second context:
Urlaubstage sind keine Einbringtage = Holidays do not count as days on which the employee is available for work.
Obviously, an employee cannot be on call if he/she is not even at home.

OK. I may have been carried away by Steffen's ref. How about:
days counting towards pensionable service

Asker: Thank you! makes sense.

Asker: I actually misstates it, sorry for that, it actually says that they do count as these kind of days.... argh... makes little sense to me now...

Asker: Thanks for your help! Deadline was ridiculous once again so I had to pass it down to the proofer (included a link to this thread for him in the file) :-) The beauty of agency work.

Days of on-call duty / on-call days?

Asker: Danke Steffen!
