German term or phrase: strukturierte Entwicklungsmöglichkeiten
Hi,

This is from an Austrian leaflet inviting applications for permanent positions. The company is advertising itself as a rock-solid future employer:

DE:
Auch Weiterbildung in den Bereichen Kommunikation, Kooperation und Konfliktmanagement stehen unseren Mitarbeiter/innen zur Verfügung.
Für Fach- und Führungskräfte bietet Z spezielle Coachingangebote sowie Einzel- und Teamreflexionen im Bereich der Persönlichkeitsbildung.
Unsere Qualifizierungsprogramme bieten ***strukturierte Entwicklungsmöglichkeiten*** für sämtliche Bereiche in der Produktion.

I would need something a bit more polished than just what it means in (American) English as this is aimed at self-presentation to both the actual target readership (people who wish to make a change in their careers or start out in the food industry in the first place) and random readers.

Thank you,

Best regards,
A. & S. Witte

clearly defined paths for advancement
Explanation:
Lose the 'structure' part. Its not totally wrong. But it doesn't provide much clarity for English speakers.

structured professional development opportunities

Explanation:
I completely agree with Andres as to the gist of what's being said here, but there is another option to express it in English, using "professional development" instead of "career development". "Professional development" is the phrase that I would gravitate towards most naturally, and really captures the idea of gaining extra skills, e.g. through training, thereby improving your ability to do your job (regardless of whether this is also connected to career development i.e. promotion)

reference examples:

"to provide structured professional development opportunities for their new recruits"

"you’ll be offered a competitive salary, flexible benefits and structured professional development opportunities in return for your hard work"

"There are multiple advantages to having a system of structured professional development opportunities offered to teachers along the professional continuum."
