German term or phrase: Selbstständigkeit
Hi,

There has got to be something more suitable than "independence". I would also consider that self-reliance does not sound quite right here as the meaning is clearly not anything to do with confidence and having the necessary skills and resources that it takes to do the work on board but the ###ability to actually work and actually solve problems on her own without any guidance from her team or supervisors### which seems like a VERY slight but somewhat meaningful difference in sensitive HR communication. Also, as a non-native translator, I can only use English words that I master, and "self-reliance" or possibly even "self-sufficiency" is not quite one of those, I am afraid.

UK English needed -- American style not allowed this time around.

ability to work independently
Explanation:
Obviously, how exactly you phrase it (work/working independently) depends on the broader syntax of the sentence, and how you structure it - but this is absolutely how we'd say it in English!

e.g. https://www.greatsampleresume.com/blog/resumehelp/emphasizin...
"One of the foremost qualities employers look for in their employees is the ability to work independently."

(motivated) self-starter / get-go attitude / ability to work on my own initiative [independently]

Explanation:
See, for instance,

https://www.campaignlive.co.uk/jobs/job/15666624/sponsorship... ("Are you a highly motivated self-starter?")

https://www.attwoodsonline.co.uk/team.vbhtml ("She has a great get-go attitude and is always motivated in what she does, striving to consistently be the best.")

You'd have to rearrange things a bit to work one of the first two suggestions into your sentence, though. Or use the more neutral "... with the ability to work on my own initiative [to work independently]".

independence

Explanation:
Work is slow and this is a good way to take a break..

There's absolutely nothing wrong with 'autonomy', and the same is true for 'independence', as has been noted already.

"A reliable and excellent performer under pressure, I am used to working with a high degree of independence, as I have been able to demonstrate in my previous roles."
