German term or phrase: Personenbestätigung
Can someone help me with this word? I am translating an mobile app, and the sentence is:

Ganz einfach, dem Netzwerk bei der APP Anmeldung beitreten, seine FIFA Spielerkarte anfordern, die Anweisungen befolgen und ein Selfie zur Personenbestätigung hochladen und fertig.

I've tried numerous searches and cannot find anything. I do not believe it's "person confirmation" as it would be if I literally translated it, especially given the context of this sentence!

English translation:to identify yourself
Explanation:
Not sure what the app is, but it sounds like a game, and the photo presumably acts as your avatar.

Explanation:
Would be my guess. I think the owners of the app want to be sure you are a real person.
