main portal / home website / home portal Explanation: It would have been nice if you had included some of the source text referring to this term. The above translation suggestions can be used interchangably, but may again depend on the source context. |

Identity provider Explanation: According to the definition on the website, anyway. " https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Identity_provider "An identity provider is “a trusted provider that lets you use single sign-on (SSO) to access other websites.”. This is exactly what is being described in the German. It's a technical term. The point about an "identity provider" is that your credentials are managed by the identity provider, which is a separate entity from the place you're ultimately logging into. It acts as a... shall we say, portal? You could invent your own translation for Stammportal, "central login portal" or something (the UK used to have 'Government Gateway' I recall), but, well, the standard English term is right there for you, why not use it? |

base portal Explanation: I find a lot of references for base portal. Not so much for master portal, which I wasn't expecting. I thought there would be more of those like in the sense of stammdata, master data. https://en.bab.la/dictionary/german-english/stammdaten https://stammportal.bmlv.gv.at/?selectedTab=help https://www.linguee.com/english-german/search?query=Stammportal https://archive.paragonwiki.com/wiki/Base_Portal |
