including an application for a schedule of distrainable property Explanation: UK or German etc. Solicitors? Pfandweise derives from Pfänden meaning to distrain and Pfändung meaning distraint or levy of execution and not, as is sometimes mixed up even by UK-qualified Solicitors, Verpfändung meaning a pledge or mortgage / charge. My first thought had been an Anton Piller Order, now a search-&-seize order that, to my recollection, used to be carried out on Affidavit (on oath in ENG Common Law countroes), now a Statement of Truth. Example sentence(s):

Reference: Previous Kudoz Reference information: https://www.proz.com/kudoz.php/german-to-english/law-patents... The late Mr Benham was a highly reliable translator. In fact, everyone but the asker is now on the 'in memoriam' page. Sad. |
