The text is a cook writing about a meal they cooked including slaughtering animals for cooking.

The sentence is "Seine Herde besteht zum größten Teil aus „Rauwolligen Pommerschen Landschafen“, Burenziegen und aus einer Kreuzung aus Buren-, Wald- und Deutscher Edelziege."

Most of it is straightforward apart from Edelziege. I guess it's a breed of goat, but I can't find an English translation at all online - if there even is one.
