"Einzeitige Schrittmacher-Implantation bei AV-Block III."

What is the correct term for "einzeitig" (implantation context)?

Background info:

Einzeitige Einheilung

Application of the Taylor Spatial Frame with one-stage implantation of a medial sledge prosthesis after post-traumatic deformity of the femur

----

In 19 cases, 95 implants could have been inserted in a one-stage procedure, while in the other 13 cases 39 implants have been inserted in a two-stage procedure. One-stage insertion of implants was done in cases of definite primary stability only; otherwise, the two-stage method was preferred.

agree  Steffen Walter: https://www.proz.com/kudoz/959650 / @Oliver - what do you mean? / I see, but the referenced question was explicitly asked to distinguish between the two terms/concepts. In this case, it's of course "one-stage" (which I could have stressed in my comment).

neutral  Andrew Bramhall: Sorry, the Proz question posted by Stefan is half-wrong.@Stefan:"stage one" implies subsequent stages, " stages two/three/ four," etc; the antithesis of " one-stage", which is something done in one hit only.

The above answer has indeed seemed to attract " overwhelming support" but I agree with the asker, it isn't necessarily the best answer; I'd go with 'one-off' 'single operation' 'single-step' or similar;

Asker: Hi Oliver, your answer sounds better to my ears; "one-stage" sounds a bit odd, but it seems to be the term used. Dunno what to do...:=)
