German term or phrase: [name] ½ Amp als Kl. a Rec bis 4x tgl
This appears in a German list of medications as part of a "OP-Kurzbericht", so no larger context available. The tricky part here is "Kl. a Rec". Any ideas?

[name] ½ ampule as Category A recommended up to 4x daily

Explanation:
Recommendation for how to take this medication. I was also thinking maybe it refers to a method of administering the medication and then a Rec would be something like "on the right-hand-side" but have not found evidence of that.

[name] 1/2 ampule as continuous (arterial) infusion. Take up to 4X daily

Explanation:
This could be read as KI, meaning "kontinuerliche Infusion", and with "a" standing for "arterial", perhaps. "Rec" is a Latin abbreviation, meaning "nimm" (see ref 1)
