German term or phrase: Randschlauch
That is what I have googled to it (the term is used the same way in my text, however, I cannot post any part of it here):

Im Zusammenhang mit der Abbauführung entstanden die Restlöcher 128, 129, 130, 131 und ein nördlicher Randschlauch.

Der Begriff entstammt dem Tagebauwesen. Er wird wie folgt definiert:

Randschlauch: der Bereich zwischen Innenkippe und dem gewachsenen Boden (ehemaliger Tagebauböschungsbereich)

Es handelt sich also um eine Böschungsform.

perimeter drain
Explanation:
Looking at the reference text the procedure for surface mining is to put a "perimeter drain" around the area to contain runoff.
"Rand" is therefore translated as "perimeter"
"Schlauch" here is literally "drain pipe" - but -
In English the word "pipe" is understood and so it is just referred too as "Perimeter drain".
See the reference for ADS AvanEdge: "AdvanEDGE pipe is commonly used as a perimeter drain."

FYI This type of drain pipe is mostly laid along the bottom of ditch or gully - as you say in a "Böschungsform"
