German term or phrase: Resonanzsegel
Can someone take a look at these and tell me what they might be? They're hung up in a concert hall to improve sound resonance.

I was thinking resonance screens. Their website also has 'resonance panels' but these look more like screens or hoops.

English translation:circular resonator
Explanation:
I wouldn't dwell to much on the "Segel" - these are resonators. The producer seem to call this exact product "circular resonator" on their website (the linke will open the German version, but you can switch to English from there)

neutral  Erik Freitag: Die Produkte, die sich unter "acoustic sail" finden lassen, sind in der Regel Absorber, keine Resonatoren (also etwas grundlegend anderes).

agree  philgoddard: "Segel" seems a bit misleading. Some of them are sail shapes, but not these.

Explanation:
(Although I admit "acoustic sails" does sound good.)
