Tech/Engineering - Paper / Paper Manufacturing / Moisture sensors
German term or phrase: Gegenkopf
Description of an infrared moisture sensor for one-sided measurement of the moisture content in a moving paper web.
Für Tissue gibt es eine Sonderausührung (Gegenkopf mit Reflektor). I suspect that it means that here the measurement is two-sided, i.e. there are two measuring heads (Gegenkopf = second measuring head). Anyone familiar with this technology and the correct technical term? I don't think "counterhead" is correct in this context.
