punched blank? |

(punched) blank Explanation: I can find several sites that use "punched blank" or "blank" like the two below - or "die cut " like on the http://www.tesa.com/ site What kind of products are made from the stanzlinge (sounds like something metal?!) Example sentence(s):

stamped piece Explanation: Could also be "Stanzteil" I'm a little confused as to what exactly the parts being stamped/punched out are. You mention "paper" and "flying paster" in the category description which makes it sound like the converter is applying adhesive to make labels, but then the stamped web is being used in an injection molding system... If it's a stamping die set is used, I'd say "stamped piece", for a trim and form die set, "punched(-out) piece" may also apply. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 51 mins (2012-09-05 09:15:57 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Oops, slight typo in the last sentence; meant "If a stamping die set is used..." |
