As this is one stage on a conveyor system, I was thinking 'box closing station', but I can only find references from patents. I also suspect that 'station' may be Denglish.
My earlier reservations about 'auffalten' stemmed from the notion of 'opening' boxes, but this is precisely what happens to the flat-packed boxes as they enter the conveyor system, i.e. they are opened out into shape.
