löffelfertig

English translation: furnished right down to the last teaspoon

German term or phrase: löffelfertig
Die Wohnungen werden schlüsselfertig produziert, auf Wunsch auch möbliert "löffelfertig".

Basically fully furnished and equipped, but I was trying to think of something snappier to say. "Ready to move in with only a suitcase" seems a popular translation but too cumbersome - is there something more catchy than that?

Not sure what field to put this request in.....

Thanks

Explanation:
There's humour in the German, and I think that should be reflected in the English.

Asker: thanks, but I don't think that tells me that absolutely everything is provided, right down to the cutlery! Somehow it needs to be one step more

Asker: thanks

agree  writeaway: This would be my choice as this is a marketing text. Fully furnished says it all. maybe asker could add the word equipped. or fully furnished, including cutlery

fully furnished and equipped all the way down to the silverware!

Explanation:
I would just add a little something after the normal and usual "fully furnished and quipped."

ready to serve up /down to a tea/

Explanation:
to keep the metaphor .. and maybe even with an un-nicked copy of 'Das Löffelchen' by Albrecht Goes nestling on the coffee table. Some of us may remember from German A-level literature: das Brandopfer being his set-reading novella.

Example sentence(s):
  • nB Bereich bedeutet dies, das das gebuchte Objekte komplett ausgestattet ist, die Küche auch mit Geschirr, Teller und Besteck, also auch mit Löffel. Daher kommt der Begriff. Dazu gehört dann auch, das Handtücher und Bettwäsche vorhanden sind
  • You can use to a T or to a tee to mean perfectly or exactly right.

neutral  AllegroTrans: "Serve up" to describe a house or flat? I don't think so, maybe OK for a coffee shop though

-> It's always an idea to 'rustle up' something original when the asker is after a 'non-cumbersome' turn of phrase.
