That was not supposed to be a translation or criticism of yours, just taking down what it says. This person is working in the Warenhaus, no indication in what role. People not infrequently outperform their paygrade and do it with various degrees of satisfaction.

Not sure what an "advanced staff" is supposed to be - advanced in comparison to what? I also would not water down the "retail"-bit, because the asker clearly indicated "department store" = Warenhaus.

Nicole is quite right about "Erstkraft". Except the point is exactly that such people are leaders without holding the "post" (Senior Retail ..."). Such roles exist (as the examples show) on divergent levels of the hierarchy. To parse the text, it says "advanced staff in the retail sector," and without further context, might one hesitate to identify a specific job title in a corresponding US or UK etc. organisation?
