These are operating instructions for using RFID scanners in retail stores.
I am looking for something in this particular context - i.e. inventory management using scanning devices in-store rather than IAS accounting terminology (derecognition etc.) I cannot use "write off" because there is another operating instruction concerning "Abschreibungen" of defective goods and I will have to use "write-off" in this context.

Further context:
Der Prozess "Retail - Ausbuchen" behandelt das Ausbuchen von Einzelartikeln, die physisch nicht vorhanden, aber noch im RFID Bestand sind (d.h. für die Berechnung der Soll-Bestände herangezogen werden obwohl sie nicht mehr da sind).
Folgende Gründe können Auslöser für das Ausbuchen sein:
lose Etiketten werden gefunden, die keiner Ware mehr zugeordnet werden können
EAS-Suche – z.B. letztes Event ist ein Alarm und das liegt schon einige Zeit zurück – Etikett wurde bei keiner nachfolgenden Bestandsaufnahme gesehen.
Differenzenklärung– EPC wurde seit Wochen/Monaten an keinem RFID Lesepunkt mehr gesehen (z.B. Bestandsaufnahme, Umbuchung)
