German term or phrase: Rebstöcke
Ihre Trauben werden aus den besten Lagen und von alten Rebstökken gewonnen.

This is describing one of the wines in the vineyard. I am not sure if this just means the type of grape variety. Can anyone confirm this please.

I believe this is a typo for Rebstöcken - the vines on which the grapes grow.

Rebstock
vine

Explanation:
It's a typo: *Rebstökken* instead of *Rebstöcken*, possibly because of syllable division.
*Rebstöcke* is plural of *Rebstock*.

neutral  Manticore (X): it should be "vines"

-> Therefore I changed it to *Rebstock* because it makes no sense to fill a dictionary with regularly formed plurals

agree  hazmatgerman (X): Though agree in principle I hold that "grape" is missing, for it is Weinstock not just any Stock. Quite with you on syllable division, which no longer is "k-k" but "ck-en" - not that I like it.//Accept "Trauben".
1 hr
-> Thank you, but I think it's obsolete because *Trauben* already forms a part of the given sentence

agree  phillee: no need for 'grape' - grapes grow on 'vines'
