Il est question d'une trancheuse automatique disposant d'un pupitre de commande grâce auquel l'utilisateur accède aux divers programmes de coupe via "5 übersichtlich strukturierten Menüpunkten: Ablageplatz, **Arbeitsplatz**, PLU-Platz, Maßplatz, Informationsplatz".

Je ne vois absolument pas comment traduire Arbeitsplatz dans un tel contexte.

Toutes vos idées me seraient d'une grande aide. Merci.

Explanation:
Vu qu'il s'agit d'une description des différents éléments de la machine/de l'installation (si je comprends bien), c'est ce qui m'est venu spontanément à l'idée. Je trouve que poste de travail ne convient pas tellement dans ce contexte précis, c'est trop utilisé pour Arbeitsplatz comme lieu de travail du personnel.
Suivant si c'est suffisant dans la phrase, je suppose même qu'*usinage* tout court serait même encore mieux. On a souvent tendance à vouloir tout traduire alors que la précision des mots composés allemands gênent souvent les lecteurs francais dans les traducs trop à la lettre.
