A német leírások jól mutatják, hogy arról az esetről van szó, amikor a fegyver irányzóvonala egybeesik a lövedék röppályájával adott lőtávolságban, tehát ezeket a cél távolságához kell igazítani. Ha a cél nem itt van, akkor alálövésről vagy túllövésről beszélnek, tehát következhetne, hogy a megoldás a "találat", de nem hangzik az igazinak, ahogy a "telitalálat" sem, hiába írja a régi GIB szótár. A telitalálat inkább a találat célponton lévő pozíciójára vonatkozik.
