Mit zunehmender Leistungsübertragung wächst der Gleitbogen.
Schließlich wird er so groß, dass er den Haftbogen vollkommen verdrängt.
Es ist dann nur noch der Gleitbogen vorhanden.
D.h. der Flachriemen beginnt auf den Scheiben zu gleiten.
Gleitschlupf **setzt ein** und die Leistungsübertragung bricht zusammen.
Von der Flachriementheorie her ist dieser Zustand gegeben, wenn F2, die Zugkraft im losen Trum, null geworden ist.
Unmittelbar davor hatte die Eytelwein`sche Gleichung ihren maximal möglichen Wert erreicht:
Wenn Gleitschlupf auftritt, springt der Flachriemen in der Regel sofort von den Scheiben.

non riesco a capire il significato di questo verbo applicato all'arco. Innanzi tutto mi verrebbe di tradurlo riflessivo (s'inserice, s'introduce, si posiziona), anche se in tedesco non lo è.
Tra i tanti significati di einsetzen non ne trovo uno che mi sembra adatto alla frase.
