Hola a todos:

estoy haciendo una traducción de alemán a español sobre un texto periodístico que habla de las evidencias que demuestran que Jesucristo no nació en el año cero, pues dicho año es una leyenda del cristianismo.

El texto dice así:

„Die Römer zählten die Jahre überhaupt nicht fortlaufend, bis ins sechste Jahrhundert nach Christus nannten sie die Jahre nach den zwei amtierenden Konsuln. Bei absoluten Zahlen richtete man sich im Westen des Reiches nach der nicht ganz sicher ZU BENENNENDEN Gründung Roms.“

El fragmento que no sé traducir es el que está escrita en mayúscula. "Benennenden" es un adjetivo formado a partir del verbo "benennen" (bautizar, denominar, denotar, nombrar, señalar, titular). No sé cómo encajar la traducción: "zu" creo que responde aquí por un adverbio de cantidad "demasiado", pero mezclado con la otra palabra no tengo ni idea.
