German term or phrase: im Weiteren
This is more of a comprehension question than a translation question (I think?) which is why I've entered it as a monolingual query. I'm puzzled by the use of "im Weiteren" in the second sentence here (rest is given for context purposes only):
Die kurze Beschreibung der Motivationsgründe der Firma zeigt die Vielfältigkeit von Komplexitätskosten auf. Da die Themen bereits vorher bekannt waren, kann im Weiteren auf bereits vorhandene Arbeiten aufgebaut werden.
Does this simply mean that because the issues were already known before, the work that already exists can be built upon? Or any 'subsequent' work can be built on. 'im Weiteren' is what's confusing me. Danke im Voraus for any help. M.

oder was auch immer, der erste Vorschlag von dir ist richtig. Nur: es handelt sich um eine deutsch-deutsche Frage, da sollte man auch auf deutsch antworten und nicht auf englisch.
