Hello,

Can anybody help me with the translation of this term? It is a title in an insurance contract.
"Διευκρινιστικός όρος".
Then the paragraph starts with "Διευκρινίζεται ότι..."

I found that "διευκρινιστικός" means "explicit" and "όρος" means "term/phrase" or " condition". I could translate it easily in a sentence but as a title, I can't find a solution...

I suspect that this is the term that Insurances use to clarify their terms and conditions and by explaining what they mean by those terms.
Looking up MY Car Insurance Policy, it gives the HEADING as 'DEFINITIONS'. Then it goes on to explain each term, such as:-
Accidental Damage:-........Loss or damage to your vehicle and.........
Administrative Fee:-........ ( explaining what is....)
Endorsements:-......... An extension or restriction to your Policy "
Excess:-..........The first amount of any claim............
Family:-..............
Certificate of Insurance:- Evidence that you have motor Insurance as
required by Law
Medical Emergency:- (explains what M.E, is)

and so on ......
