Greek term or phrase: υπερλογικό
Ο μαγικός κόσμος του υπερλογικού στα θεατρικά έργα του Παύλου Μάτεσι
Mary Pittas
English translation:hyper-logical
Explanation:
It is a term that I believe has been similarly translated in Greek and it is widely used in poetry and literature in general. It is also used in psychology and aesthetics.

"First comes a hyper-logical or aesthetic stage marked by a contemplative intuition and immediate perception of knowledge and value. At this level, the person is able to directly perceive and interpret objects, bypassing practical and intellectual reason. Finally at the highest level was the extra-logical or moral and ethical stage of development..."

neutral  Andras Mohay (X): Και το "υπέρλογο" πώς αποδίδεται στα Αγγλικά; / Μήπως αντιστρόφως; υπερλογικός = superrational, υπέρλογος (με θεολογική φόρτιση) = suprarational;

  -> Superrational? || Δεν ξέρω. Το ουεμπστερικό για το superrational («transcending the power of reason») ταιριάζει στο μπαμπινιωτικό για το «υπέρλογο». Οπότε είχα μείνει με το suprarational... Φτώχια!

agree  Peter Close: I withdraw my reply and support yours. I am now not so sure that mine was inappropriate. I was simply put off by the fact that suprarational, superrational and superrationality are not included in the best and most reliable English dictionaries.

  -> Thanks, Peter. Fortunately, so far we haven't had a suggestion for 'transrational'.

Notes to answerer
Asker: This was the most helpful answer although in the end, I came up with "translogical" because it seems more applicable to, or descriptive of, the type of writing that I'm dealing with.
