we believe that there are mainly two reasons that prescribe the usefulness of the book Explanation: The Oxford Greek-English dictionary gives the meanings of υπαγορεύω to be: dictate, impose, prescribe. The word “prescribe” can mean “to recommend (a substance or action) as something beneficial.” Reference: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linguistic_prescription https://www.google.gr/#hl=en&safe=off&sclient=psy-ab&q=prescribe+definition&oq=prescribe+&gs_l=serp.1.0.0l10.12460.17890.1.20113.20.11.0.0.0 |
