electronic board (or electronic controller, or controller) Explanation: Hi, Daniel. As far as I can tell with Google, a לוח פיקוד, in the strict sense, is an electronic board (or electronic controller, or controller), i.e. the component within an electronic device that regulates its function, whereas a לוח בקרה, or control panel, is one that displays information and with which a person can influence operations. Does this make sense to you? |

Instrument panel Explanation: If you really wish to distinguish between the two, you may choose control panel for לוח בקרה and instrument panel for לוח פיקוד (though I'd probably stick to control panel in both cases. But if you talk about a car and its dashboard, the use of instrument panel is recommended, at least in my eyes. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 day11 hrs (2014-03-08 21:54:08 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- If it's a conveyor system I'd go with electrical (not electronic) control panel (probably referring to those cabinets with power switches, circuit breakers and volt meters).
