Arbitration Agreement Explanation: This term can be found in the first few lines of the Arbitration Ordinance 1926 - line 8 ( http://www.nevo.co.il/law_html/Law90/laniado-265.pdf ) By the time you get to the Arbitration Law 5728-1968 they start calling it "הסכם בוררות" ( http://www.iga.org.il/assets/drivers/law4.html ), as you can see the description is almost identical for both. In various existing translations of the Arbitration Law 1968 they just call it an "arbitration agreement" e.g. http://www.setty-lawfirm.com/page.asp?page_parent=697 and http://www.israelinsurancelaw.com/contract-laws/arbitration-... . |

deed of arbitration Explanation: Less common than arbitration agreement but closer to the Hebrew. Whereas a deed of arbitration is a document setting out the parties to the arbitration, their dispute, and the rules that they agree to, and arbitration agreement is a contract in which you agree to bring any legal claims you may have against your employer to arbitration, rather than filing a lawsuit in court.
